Exposure to second-hand smoke increases the risk of lung cancer, heart disease and other serious life-threatening illnesses. Ventilation or separating smokers and non-smokers within the same airspace does not completely stop potentially dangerous exposure.
Therefore, it is Stanway Interiors Limited policy to protect all employees, consultants, suppliers, sub-contractors, clients and visitors from such exposure and subsequent risks.
This will be achieved by enabling all its employees the right to work in a smoke free environment, meaning that all Stanway Interiors Limited workplaces will be totally smoke free.
Smoking is prohibited in all enclosed and substantially enclosed premises in the workplace, including company vehicles.
All Stanway Interiors employees are obliged to adhere to and support the implementation of a smoke free working environment.
The above applies to all Stanway Interiors employees, consultants, suppliers, sub-contractors, clients and visitors.
Appropriate “No-Smoking” signs will be clearly displayed at the entrances to and within any of Stanway Interiors workplaces, and in all smoke free vehicles.
Any member of staff who does not comply with the above will be subject to disciplinary actions.
