?What If! (part of Accenture) is a progressive and forward thinking, global growth company helping to transform businesses through ‘doubling down on the people side of innovation’. They needed a space to inspire possibilities and creativity, in both their team and their clients. A space to help push the boundaries of innovation even further.
Stanway Interiors integrated themselves as part of the clients design team, and worked hand-in-hand, to realise the vision of all stakeholders, whilst offering valuable buildability and cost advice to ensure the challenging budget was met. The entire project was designed in Revit and 3D by spacelab, and built to exacting standards that mirrors the virtual reality. This was the opportune moment to reduce the clients carbon footprint, with Stanway Interiors leading the technological revolution with the supply chain. We were able to cost and build the project straight from the model, whilst tracking any changes made in real time.
What If's new space involved some extensive structural works to the two Georgian period era buildings in the West End. Demolition of the existing floor, inserting new steel beams, creation of a new staircase, and multiple atrium openings to produce more natural light, was followed by a complex fit-out to deliver a stunning outcome for the Innovation Partners.
"Careful reinstatement of the buildings' inherent qualities and character, with bold interventions and splashes of colour, contrast and complement the simple structure, adding elements of surprise which reflect the innovative work of the client. ?What If! now have a space that is the very embodiment of their brand, reflecting and inspiring creativity, innovation and possibilities."
